Jerry A. Velarde aka "One Loco"

With heavy hearts we announce that Jerry A. Velarde aka “One Loco” age 68 of Santa Fe, New Mexico departed this life on 6/5/25 surrounded by his loving family and entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Joe M. Velarde and Rosalie Velarde. He is survived by his loving daughter Renee Velarde and his brothers Charlie Velarde and Joe Velarde and many family and friends.

A special thank you to Aspen Medical Center Staff especially Dr. Francis Chavez, Joanna Anaya and Valerie Baros. Thank you to Cory, Donna and Phyllis from Ambercare. And a thank you to Sherry and Terry for their compassion.

Private funeral services have already been held at Jerry’s request which his family has honored. Jerry wished to express his thanks to all his family and friends for being a part of his life.

Jerry will be greatly missed by everyone who loves him.
