Jayne Salls

In loving memory of Jayne A. Salls, 77, a lifelong resident of Pecos, NM, passed away peacefully February 21, 2026. She was born in Pecos to Pedro & Julianita Vigil on September 7, 1948.

Preceded her in death are her parents Pedro & Julianita Vigil, brothers Antonio (Rita), Arturo (Adelina), Isidro (Rosella), Polly (Raymond), Arcenio (Arlene), sister Rose, bro in-law Estevan Roybal, nieces, Shirley, Annabelle & Lucille, nephews Joseph, Fred and Myron.

Jayne is survived by her husband Jim, son Shane, daughter Rosealie, granddaughters Maddison & Charlize, sister Marie Roybal and mother-in-law Betty Johnsick. She's also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jayne was a member of St. Anthony's Church and will be remembered as a devout catholic, a woman of unwavering faith, and her kind and gentle spirit. She was a great cook and loved to bake and was well known for making delicious jelly and loaves of bread in which she unselfishly shared with her neighbors, family and friends. She'll be greatly missed.

A Rosary will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Dove Hall, Pecos Benedictine Monastery Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey,16 Guadalupe Lane, funeral mass will be celebrated following the rosary at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Pecos
