Jaynaya Rodarte, 47, of Peñasco, New Mexico passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at her home in Pueblo, CO on Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Ruben and Anita Evelyn Rodarte.
Jaynaya is survived by her brothers John Rodarte and Dr. Jason Rodarte; her sisters, Tisha Tyler (Jose) and Camille Medina (Jon); her beloved niece, Niela Medina; her nephews Anthony, Keegan, Tristan, Aidan, and Brysan Medina along with Gilbert, Dante, and Donovan Mascareñas; her goddaughter Alexandria Sandoval (Matthew), her Auntie Rosie (from whom she learned how to be an Aunt); her “Road Dawgie” Andrew Gustin, Holly Laughlin, and many loving family members.
Jaynaya dedicated her life to helping troubled youth and adults, always striving to make a difference in the lives of others. Her work reflected her compassion, strength, and deep commitment to those in need.
Jaynaya loved Stevie Nicks and Notre Dame. She enjoyed attending concerts, sports events, and found great joy in being an “aunt” to her brother’s cats.
Jaynaya’s spirit, kindness, and love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family and her memory will be cherished always.
Rosary will be held for Jaynaya on Saturday, May 2nd at 9 AM with Mass to follow at 10 AM at San Antonio De Padua Church located at 14079 NM-75, Peñasco, NM 87553. Jaynaya will be laid to rest at the Llano de San Juan Catholic Cemetary immediately following Mass.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Pueblo, CO on Saturday, May 9th from 4 PM to 6 PM at 62 Ironweed Dr, Pueblo, CO 81001.
We ask all who loved and knew her to join us at either or both events.
