Janet Hall Mendonca

Janet Hall Mendonca (AKA Janet Cooledge) of Santa Fe died July 16, 2025. She was born January 24th, 1949 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Dick S. and Jean K. Hall and sister, Nancy Hall.

She is survived by her husband Tony Mendonca; daughter Amber (Jeffrey Isham); siblings David Hall (Lori Robertson) and Carol (Tom Whitacre).

Janet always loved art, passionately; painting in acrylic, water color, and oils. She painted on and off for most of her life.

Janet graduated from high school in Bartlesville, OK in 1967... Go Wildcats! She attended the Oklahoma State University and graduated with a degree in elementary education. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority.

Janet began her teaching career in Colorado Springs, where Amber was born. Janet loved teaching first through third grade. She continued teaching for many years in Bartlesville, OK, moved to Taos, and then Santa Fe where she continued teaching for another five years. It was in Santa Fe where she met Tony and they became life partners for the next 24 years... wonderful fortune for both of them. and the happiest years of their lives.
