Iris Foster

Iris Jean Foster (Selph) of Tierra Blanca, passed away in the early morning hours of September 7th after a brief illness. Iris was born in February of 1933 in Taos and was delivered by Doc Martin. She is preceded by her father Hardy Julian Selph and her mother Kristin Selph (Mills) both of Taos, and by her sister Patsy Jane Edmonds also of Taos. She is survived by her sister Peggy, her sons Harry, Eli, and Joshua Foster and five grandchildren. Iris was an excellent and loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. Iris spent her last years working to make childrens lives better. Those wishing to send flowers are asked in lieu to offer donations in her name to Child fund International. A memorial for Iris will be announced by her sons at a later date. Theres no day shall erase you from the memory of time. Arrangements by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
