Gordon Lukesh

Gordon Lukesh was born in Schenectady NY in June 1949. At an early age, the family moved to Sudbury, MA where he graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

Gordon went to college at the University of Chicago, ultimately graduating with a PHD in Mathematics.  He taught mathematics at the University of Texas, Austin for four years and at Texas A&M University for eight years. He then worked for Hughes Aircraft and as worked as a consultant on classified matters to the Air Force for ten years.  He worked as a photographer in Taos, NM until his passing.

Gordon leaves an older brother, Peter, a sister Susan and his companion for many years, Susan Chandler.
