Gloria Herrera

Gloria Herrera- A beautiful sun arose on November 10, 1934 with an even more beautiful sunset occurring on August 30, 2025. Our beloved mother has been reunited with her parents, Lupe and Abrahan, her husband Joe, her son's Steve and Anthony, all her siblings, and her three grandsons, John Najar, Little Ronnie and Ricky T.

She is survived by her children Joe (Linda), Lupita (Manny), Rick, Ron (Cindy), and Lisa (Javier). Her grandchildren are Gabriel, Edward (Leanna), Denise (John), Andrew (Amber), Sonya (Augustine), Dylan, Eric, Brittany (Olivia), Joaquin and Diamond. She has many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Gloria was loved by so many people including her many nieces, nephews and countless cousins. Roseanne and Shonita were very special to her.

Mom was so blessed with a long life full of joy. She enjoyed having many children and grandchildren to care for. Grandma's house was always busy. Her holiday cooking and desserts were a family favorite.

For several years she has been attending Church at Christian Life and loved interacting with all the members. As in Matthew 18:20- "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

Throughout her life she enjoyed playing bingo. This was her time to enjoy herself and socialize with friends.

We are all going to miss our mother so much. It was such a blessing to have her in our lives and create the many wonderful memories we will all cherish. Soon we will reunite with her. "We sought the Lord and He heard and He answered ".

Serving as Pallbearers; Gabriel, Edward, Andrew, Dylan, Eric and Joaquin. Honorary Pallbearers; Sonya, Denise, Brittany, Diamond and Domonic.

Services will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Rivera Family Kiva Chapel of Light, 417 Rodeo Rd. at 11am.
