Fredrick James Sandoval
April 30, 2025
The world lost a true spirit when Fredrick "Fred" Sandoval rode his final journey, peacefully passing away at his Albuquerque home after a remarkable two-year fight against cancer.
Born on October 13, 1963, Fred lived a life that epitomized resilience, love, and adventure. More than just a father, he was a beacon of strength to his six children: Santiago, Joseph, Raquel, Ricardo, Lily, and Jacob. His legacy extends through his mother Carol Plovick, sister Carrie Penner, brother Paul Sandoval, beloved grandchildren Ariana and Dani, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A man who believed life was meant to be lived fully, Fred found freedom on his Harley and peace by the water while fishing. His genuine spirit touched everyone he encountered, teaching profound lessons about hard work, family loyalty, and embracing every moment.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Fred's life in Santa Fe, NM at a date and time that will be later announced. The family suggests honoring his memory by living courageously and loving unconditionally.
He took on the open road and left a legacy of limitless potential, proving that the journey matters more than the destination.
