Frank Albert Gallegos

July 23, 1957 — April 24, 2026

Listen to Obituary

On April 24, the world lost a good man—Frank Albert Gallegos, born July 23, 1957. To those who loved him, he was simply Albert, a man who lived his life the way he coached: with intention, encouragement, and a belief that everyone has greatness in them.

Albert’s greatest pride was his family. He leaves behind his wife, Lucy Alcaraz, and his children—Albert (Molly), Carl, Steven (Renee), Stephanie (Caleb), and Erica (Joshua)—each of whom carries a piece of his spirit. His grandchildren—Miles, Royce, AJ, Olivia, Mateo, Nicolas, and Tomas—were the lights of his life, and he loved watching them grow.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Evy, his parents David and Consuelo, and his brother Arnold, all of whom he now joins in peace.

Albert spent years coaching baseball and basketball, not just teaching skills but building confidence and character. Off the field, he found joy in disc golf with friends, and he never missed a chance to root for the Dallas Cowboys or the Los Angeles Dodgers—win or lose.

Albert’s life was defined by loyalty, laughter, and love. He leaves behind memories that will be retold for generations, and a family who will forever feel his steady guidance in their lives.
