Frances Vigil-Jordan

FRANCES A. VIGIL-JORDAN

January 23, 1949 – October 6, 2023

On a beautiful Autumn morning, Frances passed after a courageous batter with Parkinson’s Disease.

Frances was a life-long resident of Santa Fe.  She received her Bachelors of Administration in Business Administration from the College of Santa Fe and went on to have a long career with PNM and the State of New Mexico, where she later retired.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Hipolito and Virginia Vigil; her in-laws:  Viriginia and Oscar Jordan.  Daughter, Maria Darlene Gonzales; Siblings:  George Vigil, Cecelia Contreras, Arthur Vigil, and Hipolito “Benjie” Vigil. 

Frances is survived by her husband, Stephen; Daughters:   Yvonne (Bernie) Raymond; and Sandra (Martin) Gabaldón.  Son-in-law Sam Gonzales.  Grandchildren:  Joshua Raymond, Amanda (Dominic) Baca, Matthew Raymond; Denise, Christina and Teresa Gonzales; Sonya (Joey) Gallegos, and Amelia Gabaldón.  Great-grandchildren:  Shelby, Michael and Antonio.  Siblings:  Rudy, Ernest and Angie Vigil.   She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Pallbearers:  Tyler and Alex Jordan.

Her bright spirit will continue to shine upon us and fill our hearts with love and peace.
