Florentino Crisencio Roybal
October 26, 1944 – September 19, 2026
Florentino Crisencio Roybal, 81, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. He was born on October 26, 1944, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Florentino was a good man with a strong heart who cared deeply for the people he loved. He was someone who worked hard, provided for his family, and made sure the people around him were taken care of. He was loved by many, and his presence will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Florentino was a hardworking man and a dedicated truck driver. He was proud of the work he did and was known for his strength, determination, and toughness. But behind that tough exterior was a man with a loving heart and a deep appreciation for his family.
He had a special green thumb and took great pride in his flowers. His yard and fence were often filled with morning glories, four o’clocks, and tulips. Those flowers were a beautiful reflection of the care he put into the things he loved, and they will always be a reminder of him.
Florentino loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs and cats. His family brought him great joy, and the memories they made with him will be cherished for generations to come.
Florentino is survived by his loving wife, Esperanza Roybal; his children, Judy Roybal, Floyd Roybal, Angela Thorne, and Larry Roybal; his grandchildren, Michael Roybal, Crystal Roybal, Selena Encinias, Felicia, Richard Sandoval, Patricia Sandoval, Andrew Thorne, and Allen Thorne; and his great-grandchildren, Mikey, Uzziel, Izzariah, Sebastian, Angela, Derrick, Hailey, Micah, Leo, and Abel.
He is also survived by his siblings, Virginia, Josie, Robert, and Lorraine.
Florentino leaves behind a lifetime of memories, love, hard work, and devotion to his family. His strength, his caring heart, and the love he gave to those around him will never be forgotten.
He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend—and to the people who loved him most, he was so much more.
Florentino will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered
