Floraida Vigil

Floraida Vigil, age 95, a lifetime resident of Cundiyo N.M. passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday May 28th. Born August 22, 1929, to Francisquita and Esquipula Vigil, a direct descendant of Captain Antonio Vigil who settled in the Village of Cundiyo. She was preceded in death by her parents Francisquita and Esquipula Vigil, brothers Castilo Dimas Vigil and Sabino Samuel Vigil, sister-in-law Dulcinea Vigil, brother-in-law Juan Trujillo. She is survived by her sister Tonie Trujillo of Chimayo N.M, brother Abel Vigil and wife Mary Vigil of Albuquerque, sister-in- law Andreita Vigil, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In Floraida's honor, a Rosery will take place on Tuesday June 10th, 2025, at Holy Family Parish in Chimayo N.M beginning at 9am, a Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Burial will be announced at a later date.
