Fawn Leigh Singer, 41, of Santa Clara Pueblo passed away on December 12, 2023. She is preceded in death by her maternal aunt, Kimberley Tanner-Vigil (Corrales, NM), maternal grandma, Stella Talachy Tanner (OhkayOwingeh,NM), maternal grandpa, Les Tanner(OhkayOwingeh,NM), cousin, Justin Vigil(Corrales,NM), paternal grandpa, James Singer(Santa Clara, NM), paternal grandma, Bertha Singer(Santa Clara, NM), She is survived by her parents, Tammy and Norman Singer(OhkayOwingeh Pueblo,NM and Santa Clara Pueblo, NM), maternal aunt, Debby Chavez-Bird(Albuquerque, NM), maternal uncle, Roy(Glenda) Tanner(Jemez, NM), maternal aunt, Lisa(Tommy)Elkins(Thoreau, NM), paternal aunt, Beverly Singer,(Santa Clara, NM), paternal aunt, Tanya(Donald) Clark(Santa Fe, NM), paternal uncle, Dewayne(April) Singer(Santa Clara, NM),her beloved pet, Charlie(her Chihuahua), and many aunts, uncles, and close friends.
Fawn was Daddy’s Girl. No matter where her and her dad went. While in high school she was there for all sports as a student trainer, including manager for basketball and football. After graduation she joined the USAF. She lived in Denver for 10 years. She loved all who knew her, especially children. Fawn loved to read and was very intelligent. In the USAF she was in Intelligence. She loved hunting with her dad and loved the mountains of Santa Clara. She had many friends locally and across the US. She loved New York, The Yankees, frogs, and Dragons. She loved life, her Pueblos, and her traditional values. She told her dad “Please remember me with smiles and laughter, if you remember me with sorrow and tears- don’t remember me at all”.
