Emma Gillespie

Emma L. Gillespie, 78 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born in San Antonio, TX to Louise Tormey and Thomas Patrick Tormey. She married George E. Gillespie on December 7, 1965 in Albuquerque, NM. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and a friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Patrick and Louise Tormey, beloved nephews, Tim and Chris Keene and brother, Dawson Bridges. She is survived by her husband, George E. Gillespie, son, Greg (Juanita) of Santa Fe, NM, daughter, Jennifer (Bill), grandchildren: Tyler, John, Annise, Kalie, Ryland, sisters, Carolyn (Jack) Dorso, Joanne (Frank) Keene of Albuquerque, NM, brother, Tom (Shirley) Tormey of Phoenix, AZ, nieces and nephews: Pat (Debbie), Jerry (Christine), Michael (Joanne), Mary (Dave), Lisa (Dave), Jeff (Karen), Valerie (Andy), Brian, Bill (Stephanie), Bob (Janie), Dick (Dell), Jim and numerous great nieces and great nephews. Special thanks to Santa Fe County Fire and EMS, and St. Vincents Emergency staff for all of their efforts. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 5pm at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church followed by a Rosary at 6 pm. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10 am at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church.
