A proud graduate of Santa Fe High, Liz embraced every opportunity that came her way, always striving to make a positive impact wherever she was. Her strong work ethic and desire to help those around her left a lasting impression on friends and family alike.

Liz is survived by her beloved parents, Robert and Betty Martinez, who, along with her children, carry forward the love and spirit she nurtured in her family. Her children, Korey Kaczor with father Matt, and Samantha Simmons with father Jacob, were a source of immense joy for her. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Theresa Atencio, Christine with spouse Art Valdez, and Anthony Martinez.

In addition to her immediate family, Liz is remembered fondly by her nephews, BJ Atencio and Arthur Valdez, her niece Amanda Atencio, and her grandnephew Alejandro. She was part of a wide circle of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will continue to cherish her memory and the light she brought to their lives.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Alicia and Claudio Duran, Bernadina and Urbano Martinez, and her sibling Lydia Martinez. The legacy of love she leaves behind will resonate in the hearts of those who knew her, as they honor her memory and the indelible mark she made in their lives. Liz's spirit will forever be a guiding force for her family and all who were fortunate to know her.
