Dolores A. Ortega

Dolores Ortega, 67, a resident of Arroyo de Agua passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Dolores lived for her husband and her family. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed being in the mountains. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Lucilla Martinez; her brother David Martinez; and in-laws, Paul and Rose Ortega. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Severo Ortega; her daughter, Liana Trujillo, husband Donald Trujillo both of El Duende; grandchildren, Vanessa Trujillo of Coyote, Johnny Trujillo (SueAnne) of Espanola, and Madeline Trujillo of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Analisa and Richie; brother Belarmino Martinez (Gloria) of Velarde; Marcella Suazo (Willie) of Albuquerque; Bersabe Akell (Al) of Aurora, CO; Dorella Martinez (David) of Aurora, CO; sister-in-law, Joanne Martinez of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Susan Sandoval (Mike), Bertha Branch (Milnor), Ila Chacon (Tommy), and brother-in-law, Henry Ortega (Lillian), many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Rosary was recited on Friday, February 20, 2015 at San Juan Catholic Church, in Coyote, NM. Mass of Christian Burial took place on Saturday, February 21, 2015 also at San Juan Catholic Church in Coyote, NM. Burial followed mass at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Cemetery in Coyote. Serving as pallbearers were Belarmino Bubba Martinez Jr., Aaron Grace, Donald Martinez, Rudy Ben Velasquez, Randy Morfin and Joseph Sandoval. Honorary pallbearers were Tammy Suazo, Louie Salazar, Emilio Herrera, Florencio Montoya, Richard Garcia and Johnny Trujillo. The family of Dolores has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola, NM.
