Dolores M Montoya, 86 of El Prado, passed away on March 12, 2026.

Our dear beloved Dolores has gone to be with the Lord and the love of her life, Ernesto.

She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and love of her life Ernesto M Montoya of El Prado; her two sons Julian E Montoya & Julian A Montoya; parents, Faustin & Clorinda Archuleta of Ranchos; her sisters Temia and Erma Archuleta; her brothers Vilkie and Phillip Archuleta (Diana); her in-laws Juan Jose “JJ” and Juanita Montoya of El Prado; and brother/sister-in law Arturo and Facha Montoya of El Prado. She will be remembered lovingly by her daughter Loretta N. Montoya-Duran; her grandchildren John Michael Duran, Stephanie Duran (Tim Lerma), and Cherrie Montoya, her brother Faustin Archuleta (Ramona), her brother/sister-in-law Rumaldo & Cora Garcia; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, dozens of God Children, and many extended family and friends. A Special Thank You to John Duran, her kind, caring, and steadfast friend and caregiver.

Rosary will be recited April 10th, 2026 at 9am at our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Taos, NM, with the Funeral Mass to immediately follow.

After Mass, Dolores will be laid to rest at Sierra Vista Cemetery, followed by a reception at St. Joseph’s Hall (behind Our Lady of Guadalupe).
