Dolores (Granny) Grobe August 18th, 1947,
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our loving Mother Dolores Grobe on March 15th, 2026. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Father: Crecensio Escudero, Mother: Flora Escudero
Sisters: Elizabeth Rael, Anita Escudero & Sandy Escudero and Greg Chavez
She was called home alongside her loving and caring daughter Monica C. Padilla, who she loved so much! Monica was not only her daughter but her loving care giver for many years.
Dolores was survived by her beautiful daughters and son in-laws: Denise (Art) Leyba, Valerie (Pat) Baca & Leroy Padilla.
Her loving and last remaining sister Christine (Tina) Dominguez
She was blessed with 5 Grandchildren: Stephanie (Wendy) Mendoza, Natasha (Mark) Lujan, Stevie Jr. Ortiz, Marissa Padilla & Mariah Baca.
She also had 11 Great-Grandchildren who she thought of all the time:
Kenny Jr. (Carla), Destiny, Monique, Aayliah, Aurora, Aidan, Messiah, Atreus, Adonis, Mariah & Isaiah.
Nephews & Niece: Mikey, Brenda (Scott) and many extended relatives.
Dolores was a loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Auntie, and was loved deeply. She was an activity Director for 25 years for the elderly in Texas and New Mexico. She worked for the Electric Company in Texas and the New Mexico Gas Company for many years. Dolores Always was a caring and thoughtful person for her community and others because her heart was so big, she gave a part to everyone she knew. She took care of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren that all know her as (Granny). She was the most humble, kind, generous loving person who would help anyone in need. She treasured her family deeply and enjoyed many celebrations with them. Dolores carried herself with so much grace even on the hardest days, her light shined bright!
The Family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, thoughts and prayers.
Services will be Monday, April 27, 2026 as follows:
Rosary 9:00 AM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church
Mass 10:00 AM at St Anne’s Catholic Church
Burial 11:30 AM at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens
