Dennis Manzanares, born on September 20, 1950, to Fermin Manzanares and Ercilia Martinez, passed away on April 21, 2026, at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, following health complications.

Dennis was a devoted Catholic and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and the Civil Air Patrol. He was a graduate of Georgetown University Law School and went on to practice law in the State of New Mexico. Dennis took great pride in his profession and earned the respect of many through his dedication, integrity, and commitment to serving others.

He is survived by his brother, Simon Carlos Manzanares, and sister-in-law, Beatrice; his companion of three years, Eloise Griego; his maternal aunt, Alma Martinez; along with several cousins and extended family members.

A Funeral Mass will be held on June 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos, New Mexico, with burial immediately following at Sierra Vista Cemetery in Taos.

Dennis will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his dedication to the legal profession, and his lasting commitment to his Catholic community. He will be missed by all who knew him.
