Denise Hallenbeck

Denise Hallenbeck, aged 82 died on December 20, 2024 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born and raised in Chester County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter Hemphill H. Ayers and his wife June Houck Ayers. She worked hard all of her adult life, and when she retired, she started volunteering with an animal welfare organization, caring for homeless pets and assisting in find them new homes. She loved to craft and among many others, did oil painting, beading, mosaics, knitting and sewing. She is survived by her children, Kristine Elliott of Downington, Pennsylvania, Scott Hallenbeck of Atlanta, Georgia and Lorissa Longfellow of Santa Fe, New Mexico, two grandchildren and her cat Misty. She is also survived by a sister Kathryn Aaron of Florida.
