Davilay Demetrius Anaya Wells Ii

Davilay Wells, age 22, a resident of Edgewoood, NM passed away on September 14, 2017. He was born June 8, 1995 to parents Bernadette and Davilay Wells in Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Rosina Anaya, uncle Gilbert Anaya, and grandfather Milton Wells. He is survived by his parents, sisters Brandi Stone (Allan), Esperanza Wells, and Nicole Wells, and brother Mateo Wells. Davilay was loved by so many. He was a natural student leader at UNM, role model to his peers and siblings, and loved being outdoors. He was a third generation member of the St. Joseph Society and a charter member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. as well as a McNair Research Scholar. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00am with the Mass to follow at noon at Nuestra Senora de los Remedios Church. Pallbearers are Mateo Wells and Lawrence Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Francisco, Gilbert Anaya, Immanuel Pugh and Edward Wells.
