David Segura III, lovingly known as Davey, or simply “Segura”, was called home to be with Jesus, His Lord and Savior, on May 08, 2025 at the age of 33. He was surrounded by family and friends who loved him unconditionally. Upon his passing, David gave the ultimate gift –saving four lives through organ donation. A final act of compassion and generosity, a true reflection of the kind of person he was.
He was born June 19, 1991 and had a passion for the outdoors as he was happiest when snowboarding , hunting, camping or fishing. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed basketball, baseball and especially football – a proud Denver Broncos fan. He never turned down a good game of NBA 2k. He played all sports, showing the same intensity and heart on the field that he incorporated into every part of his life.
David was a vibrant light in the lives of all who knew him—comedic, full of life and endlessly loyal to his family and friends. He was a beloved son, father, cousin, nephew, and friend whose energy and laughter filled every room he entered. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people through his keen sense of humor and good spirit, bringing joy to those around him.
David is survived by his loving parents, Dave & Julie, his cherished son Luke, countless family and friends, as well as those who will remember him fondly as he touched their lives with his fierce love and loyalty.
He will be deeply missed and our lives are forever changed without him. He leaves behind a legacy of hope and resilience, inspiring all who knew him to believe in the possibility of recovery.
