Consuelo Jaramillo

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Consuelo (Grandma Connie) Jaramillo. She was born on September 23, 1939, to Maria and Vincent Romero. She passed away on August 9, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Consuelo absolutely loved celebrating the holidays. Always making sure her home was filled with her beloved family.

You could often find her enjoying her luck at the casino. Grandma Connie was the heart of our family; she had a profound quiet way of making sure everyone felt seen and valued. Her love was a safe place, and we will carry it with us forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Vicente Romero, her brother Vicente Jr, her sister Ramona, husband Joe Jaramillo, her son, Daniel Jaramillo, her grandson’s Isaac, Anthony, Joshua and Manuel Jaramillo.

She is survived by her children Joseph “Kimo” Jaramillo (Arlene), Anna Jaramillo, Sandra Jaramillo, Debbie Tapia (Tommy), Patsy Jaramillo, Nano Quintana, Christopher Jaramillo and Godson Vicente Jaramillo. Her brothers Felix, Fidel Romero, sisters Cordi, Tili, Chana, Dolores, and Jenny, sister-in-law Stilla. Along with 98 grandchildren.

Consuelo’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, leaving a legacy of love and laughter. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 6:00-7:00 pm at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel of Light. Funeral mass on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 11:00am – 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Internment will be at 1:00pm at Rosario Cemetery and reception will be held at Christian Life Church.
