Clyde Wharton Jr.

Clyde L. (Bud) Wharton Jr. was born to Clyde and Claudia Wharton on December 29, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas. In 1946 Bud served in the US Army for a short period and then graduated from Kansas University. He was affiliated with the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Bud married the love of his life, Pat in 1951 and worked in sales for many years in Kansas and Missouri. Pat and Bud moved to Santa Fe in 1978, bought and ran Snelling and Snelling Personnel Services. He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Pat; daughter: Nancy Stratton and parents: Clyde and Claudia Wharton; Bud is survived by his son, Frank Wharton of Santa Fe; brother, Dale Wharton of Montreal Canada; granddaughter, Ann Mitchell and husband Jesse of Tucson, Arizona; grandson, Stephen Stratton of Albuquerque and great-grandchildren, Mariah, Jayda, Ava, Jordyn and Mila. A private service will be held, at a later date.
