It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Pacheco, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who departed this life on May 31, 2025, in the serene surroundings of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. Born on November 30, 1983, Christopher filled the lives of those around him with love, laughter, and an indomitable spirit.
Christopher was a loving and kind-hearted individual, known for his remarkable sense of humor that could light up any room. He had an infectious energy that drew people in and made them feel at home. His passion for life was reflected in his diverse interests and hobbies. Whether he was dancing to the vibrant rhythms of rock, Spanish, and old-school music, or enjoying the thrill of Denver sports—cheering for the Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, and Denver Broncos—his enthusiasm was boundless.
Beyond his love for music and sports, Christopher was a gifted artist. He took great pride in his drawings, creating heartfelt greeting cards, and honing his skills as a woodcarver. The great outdoors called to him as well; he found joy in fishing and hiking, with El Sato Waterfalls being one of his cherished retreat spots. He also fondly reminisced about his youthful days spent boxing—a testament to his spirited nature.
Christopher was deeply rooted in his faith, and one of his proudest accomplishments was his devotion to wearing his scapular—a symbol of his unwavering faith and commitment. His spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In these challenging times, we seek solace in the enduring love of family. He is survived by his devoted parents, Felix and Marie Pacheco, his brother Andrew, his treasured daughters, Angelica and Alyzeah, and the joyous light of his life, his grandson, Levi. Christopher was blessed with the love of many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast network of beloved relatives and friends who will forever hold him dear in their hearts.
He has joined the embrace of his grandmothers, Rose Pacheco and Lucy Medina, along with his cherished cousins, Juan Pacheco, Ricardo Trujillo, and Robert Pacheco Jr., who welcomed him with open arms.
A Rosary ceremony will be held on June 11, 2025, at Holy Trinity Parish in Arroyo Seco, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM. The family invites all who knew and loved Christopher to come together in memory of this extraordinary soul, whose kindness and laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
Christopher Pacheco, you were a shining light in our lives, and your legacy of love will remain with us always.
