Chetney Andrew Fornell

Chetney Andrew Fornell went home to the Lord Monday, December 22, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Gerald Fornell and Karen Fornell. Chetney was born May 2, 1976 in Evanston Illinois. He grew up in Lake Bluff, Illinois and attended Lake Forest High School and Columbia College in Chicago. He is survived by his mother Karen and his sister, Kara (Zickert), bother-in-law Paul, niece, Lillie Zickert and nephew, Carson Zickert. He was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He loved everything about cars, specifically Formula 1 racing. He was employed by Sky Railway in Santa Fe and loved introducing passengers to the beauty of New Mexico. We will miss you, but you will forever live in our hearts. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You’ve got your wings so fly high and watch over us.
