Cecilia Marie Martinez

Cecilia Marie Martinez 85 passed away October 27,2026 peacefully. 

She was born in Santa fe, Nm on January 10,1941 to Guadalupita Pino and Cecil Murray. She was raised in Santa fe and loved to go fishing with her father. Then married her husband Nick Martinez and together they raised 4 children. 

She was a devoted catholic throughout her life. She was a loyal and devoted member of her church St. Anne's Catholic church. 

She is proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Nick Martinez ; her father Cecil Murray, her mother Guadalupita Pino . Her grandson Nicholas Sanchez. Sisters; Mildred Catanach and Roberta Alarid. Paternal grandparents; Robert L. Murray and Alice (Maude) Murray. Maternal grandparents; Jose Augustino Pino and Agneda Romero. 

Shes is survived by her sons; Richard Martinez (Linda) and Jeffrey Martinez Sr. ( Gail) and daughters; Valerie Sanchez and Nicol Mendiola (Roger) Her grandchildren; Richard Martinez (Nina) , Steven Martinez, Candace Murchio (David), Jeffrey Jr. Martinez (Brianna), Jared Martinez (Mariah), Ashley Jutilia (Dalton) , Troy Mendiola, Maria Sanchez and Monica Sanchez. Her many great grandchildren; Mason, Maven, Tre, Henry, Miles, Hudson, Easton, Micah, Jayla, Tillie, Rico, Manny, Arianna, Anthony, Kaylee, Jonathan and Julia. She has many nieces and nephews and cousins who loved her so. She was a very busy mother and housewife. 

She worked for the state of NM for a time. She loved her plants and took good care of her beautiful yard . Her legacy will be remembered for her love of her church and faith and for her love for the holidays especially Christmas and passed down that tradition down to her children by bringing together family near and far. She has so many cherished memories she leaves behind. We are all heartbroken to lose such a beautiful soul.
