Catherine Sisneros Sandoval of Abiquiu N.M. has gone to her eternal kingdom. Born January 15,1945. She departed May 13, 2026.

Catherine was a devoted mother, sister godmother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Catherine devoted over 32 years to the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department, also served as the agency's law enforcement liaison.

In that capacity, she worked with and earned the respect of numerous law-enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Secret Services, Defense Intelligence Agency, US Marshall's Services, Drug Enforcement Agency, Air Force Bases, Air Force Bases around the world, as well as the State Police Departments, and Sheriff's offices all across New Mexico.

She was honored by Governor Susana Martinez with awards for her years of service to the state. She was awarded numerous honorary badges, plaques, from all the agencies she worked for, along with awards from Afghanistan for her investigation into terrorism in the United States during the war.

Catherine is survived by her beloved children, Ingrid/Ron, Joe, Jayson, and Annie/Adam. God daughter/niece Greta Archuleta. Grandchildren: Adam, Alex, Eric, Joseph Segovia, Angie and Michela Maestas, Madison McClary. A very special grandson Kyle Balch. Numerous grandchildren that she loved dearly. Sisters: Sara Archuleta, Sophie Starnes, Carmel Owens. Brothers: Rudy, Gerald, and Arnold. Numerous loved nephews and nieces.

Mass and rosary were held in her honor at Holy Cross Church. A private burial was followed at her home in Abiquiu.
