Carmelita Trujillo

Carmelita “Tasha” Trujillo, age 87, a resident of Chimayo, NM, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Eloisa Espinoza; daughter, Angela Gallegos; brothers, Manuel Espinoza Jr. and Genaro Espinoza; son-in-law, Richard Gallegos Sr.

Carmelita is survived by her daughter, Donna Martinez; granddaughter who she raised, Chastity (Arizai) Gallegos; grandson who she raised, Richard Gallegos Jr.; sister, Cicilia (Carpio Sr.) Martinez; nephews, Dino (Deanna) Martinez and Carpio Jr. (Jessica) Martinez; nieces, Shirley Montoya and Melinda (Darrol) Miera; Grandchildren, Angelica Martinez, Albert (Tatiana) Gallegos, Jordan Gallegos, Angelo Vigil, Reanna Martinez; great grandchildren, Arizai Jr., Azalea, and Ruby and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be held Friday January 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Church in Chimayo,NM with a Mass at 10:00 AM and Burial to follow at Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo, NM.
