Carla K Caraveo-Murillo, a vibrant soul with a heart full of dreams and a passion for life, departed this world unexpectedly on August 15, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born on August 12, 1996, Carla was a shining light to everyone who knew her. As she navigated through life, she filled her days with hopes of becoming a nurse, a cherished aspiration that spoke volumes of her compassionate spirit and desire to help others.
Carla's personality was as colorful as the sunsets she loved to watch. She was outspoken and unafraid of taking risks. Whether chasing her ambitions or engaging in spirited conversations, she approached each moment with enthusiasm and a zest for life. Her ability to dream was complemented by her fierce independence. Carla had a natural gift for connecting with people, especially children, and she found immense joy in spending time with them, bringing laughter and love wherever she went.
Family meant everything to Carla. She leaves behind her loving parents, Luis and Ernestina Caraveo, who nurtured her dreams and shared in her laughter. Her brother, Lorenzo Caraveo, and sister-in-law, Araseli Gutierrez, remember her as a guiding light in their lives. Carla's heart swelled with love for her niece, Scarlett, and nephew, Joshua, who brought her endless joy. She had a special way of making every moment with them magical, and her memory will forever remain etched in their hearts.
Carla will also be dearly missed by the memory of her late brother, Luis Caraveo, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. The legacy of love and warmth she cultivated during her time with him continues to resonate in the hearts of her family.
A visitation will be held in her honor at Rivera Family Funeral & Cremations of Santa Fe on August 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join together for a Rosary at the San Isidro Catholic Church Center on August 27, 2025, at 12:30 PM, followed by a Mass at 1:30 PM. Carla's journey will culminate with a burial ceremony at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM, where her spirit will find peace surrounded by the love of those she cherished.
As we say goodbye to Carla K Caraveo-Murillo, we celebrate a life that, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and dreams of a bright future. In our hearts, she will forever inspire us to live life to the fullest, just as she did.
