Billie was born on a farm in Missouri where she grew up riding horses and enjoying outdoor adventures. She moved to Iowa where she met the love of her life, Chuck. Their first three children were born there. The family moved to Oklahoma where their youngest was born. The family later moved to Los Alamos and remained in New Mexico for several decades. Billie loved music and enjoyed singing. She served in many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, including Young Women President, Relief Society President, Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher and perhaps her favorite, Sacrament Meeting Chorister.
