Betty Jaramillo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Jaramillo, a long time resident of Chimayo. She died Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Santa Fe Care Center. Betty, beloved wife and mother, peacefully left us at the age of 86. Born June 12,1939. Betty dedicated her life to her family. She worked cleaning houses, always ensuring others' spaces were filled with care. She was a constant source of love, kindness, and strength. Betty is survived by her son, Paul Jose Jaramillo, brother Fred Solano, sisters Teresa Fernandez and Mercedes Patricia Gonzalez in addition to her good friend, Aliza Martinez.

She is preceded in death by husband Efren Jaramillo, son Randy Jerry Jaramillo, mother Felonis T. Solano Samora and father Bernardo Trujillo.A private family service will be held, with a celebration of her life to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Santa Fe Care Center that supported her so lovingly.
