Ben Velarde

Ben Velarde, 66, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 29, 2022, born October 21,1955 to Ignacio and Flora Velarde (deceased).  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Flora Lisa Martinez.  Survivors include his wife, Maria, sons Marcos (Diane); Ignacio (Sharon) and daughter Estrella (Everett); 10 grandchildren, 3 great grand children; four sisters, three brothers, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, McCurdy Rd., Santa Cruz, NM on June 24, 2022.  Rosary at 10:00 am and Mass at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow.
