Benny Chavez

Benny Chavez, 81, of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. He married Carmen Chavez on April 30, 1965 in Colorado Springs, CO. He served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey Gena Sena, parents, Flora and Max Chavez, and sisters, Rosina Chavez and Dolores Gonzalez. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Chavez, daughter, Kathy Wheeler (Daniel), son, Kevin Chavez, grandchildren: Daniel R. Wheeler; Valerie R. Wheeler; James & Jessica Wheeler; Audrey Wheeler; Adam & Melenie Sena, great grandchildren, Serenidy Wheeler; Jeremiah Alvarez; Jeremiah Sena; Aubrie Sena; brothers, Henry Chavez all of Santa Fe, NM; Ernest Chavez of Anaheim, CA, sisters, Elvira Kay of Warren, PA, Rosie Lacey of Colorado Springs, CO, nephews, David and Hank Sedillo. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Rosario Chapel. Interment will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10:30 am at The Santa Fe National Cemetery.
