In Loving Memory of Benito Salazar

Benito Salazar, born November 15, 1982, passed away on October 25, 2026. A lifelong resident of Chimayó, Benito will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Benito worked for a time as a laborer and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a special way of making people smile and was known for his playful personality and natural flirtatious charm. He was also known for always giving fresh flowers to all the ladies, a sweet gesture that reflected his thoughtful and playful nature. His laughter, kindness, and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Sennie Salazar; his brother, James Salazar, and his wife, Jenny Salazar; his beloved niece, Jaylee Salazar; and many other family members who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Benito Salazar Sr.

Benito will forever be remembered for the smiles he shared, the kindness he showed, and the lives he touched. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

A Rosary for Benito will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 5pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM.
