She leaves behind a tapestry of love that lives on through her devoted husband, Ubaldo Tena.

With deep sorrow and hearts full of love, we remember Beatriz “Chapa” Tena, who left us on June 29, 2026 in Santa Fe, NM, just shy of her 69th birthday. Born on July 29, 1957 in Ciudad Juarez, Beatriz’s life was defined by boundless warmth, devotion, and a love that resonated through every aspect of her being.

Beatriz illuminated the lives of those around her, from her childhood in Ciudad Juarez to her many treasured years shared with family and friends. Though her journey on this earth has ended, her legacy endures in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her.

She leaves behind a tapestry of love that lives on through her devoted husband, Ubaldo Tena. Beatriz’s spirit shines in her sons: Angel Tena-Valdez and his wife Consuelo Villalba, Christian Tena-Almaraz, and Brian I Tena, who will carry her memory forward with pride and affection. She was a cherished grandmother to Perla A Valdez-Villalba, Angel A Valdez-Villalba, and Noe A Valdez-Villalba, each of whom was deeply touched by her gentle presence and unwavering support.

Beatriz’s life was marked by enduring connections and the nurturing of family bonds. The loss of her beloved mother Rosario Almaraz and father Bonifacio Perez-Trujillo, as well as her sisters Guadalupe Almaraz and Rosario Almaraz-Perez, weighed heavily upon her heart—yet even in loss, she found strength in the family that remained, demonstrating perseverance and hope.

Her memory is a testament to dignity, compassion, and kindness. Beatriz created a home where laughter flourished, traditions were cherished, and relationships grew deeper with each passing year. Her wisdom, patience, and comfort guided her children and grandchildren, imprinting lessons of love and resilience.

Family and friends are invited to honor Beatriz’s remarkable life at a visitation on July 8, 2026 at Rivera Family Funeral & Cremations of Santa Fe, 417 East Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM. The visitation will take place from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, with a Rosary at 1:00pm and burial to follow at 2:30pm.

As we bid farewell, we pause to remember a woman whose heart and home were always open, whose spirit remains interwoven with those she loved most. Though Beatriz “Chapa” Tena has departed, her legacy—built on faith, family, and enduring affection—will live on. All who were touched by her life are forever grateful for the gift of her presence, and she will be missed beyond words.
