Barbara Diane Iams

Barbara Diane Iams, a beloved professional chef and cherished member of the culinary community, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born in December 1946, Barbara devoted her life not only to the art of cooking but also to building numerous friendships throughout her remarkable career.

Despite having outlived nearly all of her family and friends, Barbara found solace in the love of her cat, Girlie, care of her cousin Harriet and the love and support of her wonderful Trader’s Joe crew where she worked for 18 years.
