Anthony Levi Marquez

Anthony Levi Marquez, 47, unexpectedly passed away on July 23, 2025. He was born on April 9, 1978 in Santa Fe, NM to Tony and Kathleen Marquez.

He is preceded in death by his mother; Kathleen Marquez, his grandparents; Levi and Laura Madrid, grandfather; Eusebio Marquez and Aunt; Petrita Alcon.

He is survived by his Father; Tony Marquez, children; daughters Laura, Annie (Joe), and son Anthony David. One granddaughter; Estelle. Sister; Patricia Chavez (Gilbert), nephews; Angelo, Matthew, and Daniel (Karly), great nephew; Luciano and grandmother; Victoria Torres. Many special aunts, uncles, cousins and life-long friends; Charlie, Anthony, Jeremy, Jerome and Jesse. A very special friend Maria, her son’s JJ and Zeke who he held close to his heart.

Anthony had many hobbies. He loved fishing, bow hunting, being in the mountains, welding, riding his motorcycle and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was his Father Tony’s right-hand man and loved working with their business Marquez Excavating, specializing in septic tank installation. He was a pro at operating the backhoe since he was a young boy. He had a heart of gold and gave the best bear hugs. He was kind, patient, funny and always lent a hand to those who needed it. He told the best stories and we never got tired of hearing them. He will be missed by many but we find comfort in knowing he is watching us from above with his beloved mother Kathleen.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 7:00 pm. Rivera Family Funeral Home, 417 East Rodeo Rd.

Celebration of Life will be held August 12, 2025 at 11:00 am burial to follow, Rivera Family Funeral Home , 417 East Rodeo Rd. Santa Fe NM Reception to follow at Elks Lodge, 1615 Old Pecos Trail Santa Fe, NM.
