Anita Gallegos Blankenship

Anita Gallegos Blankenship, age 89, a resident of El Guique went into the presence of her Lord on September 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband William Blankenship, brothers, Gilbert, Orlando and Ross Gallegos, her sisters, Emma Gregg and Alice Gallegos. She is survived by her sisters, Dora Cobb of El Guique, Helen Fletcher (Jim) of Albuquerque, brother, Juan Ralph Gallegos of El Guique and a very close friend Josina Clark. A public visitation took place on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. Mass of Christian Burial took place on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Interment followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
