Angelica Dominguez

1986 — 2025

Santa Fe

Angelica Dominguez, a radiant soul whose spirit illuminated the lives of all who knew her, passed unexpectedly on June 17, 2025, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born on February 3, 1986, in Mission Viejo, California, Angelica cherished her time on this earth, embodying love, care, and a deep spiritual faith that touched countless hearts.

Her dedication to serving others was exemplified through her volunteer work at Steelbridge Ministries. Angelica’s nurturing nature and unwavering belief in God guided her as she devoted herself to helping those in need, leaving a lasting impact on the community she served.

Angelica was not only a passionate volunteer but also an avid collector of rocks and crystals. This unique hobby reflected her deep appreciation for the beauty of the world and her desire to connect with nature in special ways. Each rock and crystal she collected was more than a physical object; they were tokens of her journey, moments filled with wonder and discovery that she delighted in sharing with family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Carolyn Dominguez, her cherished daughter, Amitty Maes-Oetting, and her siblings: sister Christina Webber, brother Juan Dominguez, sister Josephine Oetting (Brandon), brother Fabian Montoya, sister Gloria Padilla, sister Sylvia Padilla, brother Tommy Apodaca, and brother Junior Padilla. Angelica’s family extended beyond immediate relatives; she took great pride in her many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who were all lucky enough to experience her warmth and spirited embrace.

Angelica's bright light will be profoundly missed by those who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Montoya, as well as her beloved grandparents, Ricky and Morris Montoya, and Cipriano and Angie Ortega. The bond with her best friend, Claire Martinez, whom she remembered fondly, remains a testament to the depth of her connections and the love she cultivated in her life.

As we reflect on the life of Angelica Dominguez, we remember her for the love she shared so freely, her unwavering faith, and the joy she brought into our lives. May her spirit continue to guide us, and may we strive to embody the same kindness and compassion she so beautifully exemplified.
