Andrea’s journey through life was one defined by her exuberance and open-heartedness. She was bubbly, extraverted, and known for her generosity—giving freely of her time and gifts to the people she loved. Her affection for her husband Jeffrey Markowicz shone everywhere: together they filled the years with songs, laughter, and a zest for adventure. Their days were woven with music from summer camp, funny stories that could light up a room, and countless live concerts where they danced—celebrating not only music, but every precious moment shared. Andrea and Jeffrey delighted in traveling throughout the western states, finally finding their home together in Santa Fe, a place they lovingly chose for retirement. Art classes, hours spent working out together at the gym, and simply sharing life with her true love reflected the joy and fulfillment she found in companionship.

Her family and friends remember Andrea as someone whose laughter was as big as her heart. She was the kind of person who drew people in with her warmth and her stories, generous to a fault and always present for those who needed her. Her affection was not only reserved for Jeffrey but also extended to her close friends and family. Andrea is survived by her beloved husband Jeffrey, her caring cousin Byron, and her kitty cats whom were her Fur Babies Rennie and Spence who all will cherish her memory dearly.

The legacy Andrea leaves behind extends also to her professional accomplishments. Her career was as dynamic and varied as her personality. Beginning in her teens, Andrea found early success as a fashion model—a testament to her poise and confidence. She later dedicated herself to the legal field as a secretary, and then transitioned yet again to become a licensed real estate agent. Each chapter of her career reflected her continual adaptability, ambition, and her desire to help others.

Education was a point of pride for Andrea, and she earned her Associate’s degree with determination and hard work. In high school, she achieved the notable distinction of winning an award from the French National Honor Society—an achievement she looked back on fondly as one of her proudest moments.

Andrea’s life was defined not only by who she was, but also by those she loved. Now she is reunited with her parents Sanford and Helen Miller, and her older brother Bud.
