Aaron Daniel Vigil

Aaron Daniel Vigil, age 33, of Santa Fe, NM and formerly of Ranchos de Taos, NM, passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Espanola NM on February 15, 1992.

Aaron was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Arthur Vigil Sr., and Senaida Vigil of Taos, Uncle Jimmy Vigil of Albuquerque, Aunt Becky Martinez of Taos, Uncle Raymond Piper II of Taos, Cousin Nicole Vigil of Albuquerque, and the mother of his child, Venessa Velarde of Espanola.

Aaron is survived by his daughter Lilliannah Vigil (age 8) of Los Alamos, Parents Art Vigil Jr. (Barbara) of Questa, Francine Suazo-Henley (Jonathan) of Los Alamos, Sister Alisha Vigil of Los Alamos, Step Sister Deanna Overby of Questa, Grandparents Frank and Dulcinea “Candy” Suazo of Ranchos de Taos, Girlfriend Nicole Maestas and her daughter Violet of Taos, Aunt Mary Louise Vigil of Arizona, Aunt Cecelia Vigil of Arizona, Aunt/Godmother Jessica Vigil of Albuquerque, Uncle Angelo and Aunt Netta Vigil of Talpa, Aunt Antonice Piper of Taos, Uncle Mario and Aunt Darlene Vigil of Ranchos de Taos, Aunt Teresa and Uncle Joe Trujillo of Los Cordovas, Uncle Gilbert “Rocky” Vigil of Taos, Uncle Ron and Aunt Sharon Suazo of Ranchos de Taos, Uncle James Suazo of Ranchos de Taos, and first cousins Andrea, Melissa, Danny, Joe, Heather, Jacklyn, Pam, Juan, Matthew, Angelo Jr., Angelina, Raymond Piper III, Angela, Manuel, Timothy, Veronica, Natalie, Haley, Trafen, Rocky Jr, Ashley, Andrew, James, Brandon and Bella; Special second cousins Jennifer and Adam, as well as extended family and friends. He is also survived by his Work Family at Premier Distributing Company in Santa Fe, as well as his Delancey Street Family in San Juan, NM, where he resided and excelled in rehabilitation and vocational training programs from 2019-2024.

An Autumn 2025 service is planned in memory of Aaron’s favorite time of year.
